Foundation of CRANIMAX GmbH
Michael Kölsch founded CRANIMAX GmbH in Zweibruecken as a software development and sales company specialising in industry-specific solutions.
CRANE MANAGER V3
The first professional crane operation planning software featuring a manufacturer-independent crane database. Operation planning based on load tables, obstacle, and load geometries, fully calculated and displayed in 2D. A new standard for the industry.
CRANE MANAGER 2011
Our technology transforms 2D line models into detailed 3D views. Combined with interference calculations based on building edges, the result is a planning tool that opens up new perspectives and takes precision to a whole new level.
CRANE MANAGER 2014
The existing 2D line drawings are being replaced by a comprehensive, realistic 3D visualisation of the cranes. For the first time, planners can view the crane, load, and construction site in a three-dimensional representation. The result is even more precise and realistic operational planning.
CRANEbee – the new generation
CRANEbee is the successor to CRANE MANAGER. It offers over a billion possible combinations from more than 470 manufacturer-independent crane models, fully visualised in 3D and seamlessly integrable into CAD. CRANEbee is becoming the global standard for crane operation planning.
First exhibition booth at bauma
After years of successful collaboration with crane manufacturers, CRANIMAX takes the next step and presents itself for the first time with its own booth at bauma, the world's largest trade fair for construction machinery.
New CEO
Marc-André Roka has taken over as CEO of CRANIMAX GmbH and is driving forward the company’s strategic development.

Import/ Export Feature
With the new IFC interface, building models can be integrated directly into crane operation planning. The integration with existing BIM workflows enables a fully digital planning process on the construction site.
Drone data – Integration with AirClip GmbH & Co. KG
Thanks to the new partnership with AirClip GmbH & Co. KG, drone footage can now be imported directly into CRANEbee. Real-world 3D data of the construction site forms the basis for even more precise crane operation planning.
