I get a "write permission denied" error while transferring data to CAD. What can I do??

If you get an error message like this
C:\Program Files\craniMAX\CM3\SUPPORT\INTERFACE\cranim30_a17.mns Write permission denied. Unable to create:'C:\Program Files\craniMAX\CM 3\SUPPORT\INTERFACE\cranim30_a17.cuix'
when you try to transfer data from Crane Manager to CAD, you need to have write permission on folder
C:\Program Files\craniMAX\CM3\SUPPORT\INTERFACE\
To set the write permission on Vista or Windows 7, follow this instruction:

Open your explorer and go to the folder C:\Program Files\craniMAX\.
Right click on folder and select 'Properties' from Context Menu, then Click on Security tab and choose on group or user names 'Users' and click 'Edit'.



Now under Permission section check the rights which you want to grant, in our case check “Full Control” under the “Allow” column to assign full access rights control permissions to users group.



Click Ok for changes to take effect and click ok final ok to exit from Properties window.

If you have the write permission, restart Crane Manager and CAD.
