ToM 1.3

This Tower manager is for the graphical representation of tower cranes in an 3D environment like AutoCADŽ or BricsCadŽ. All cranes can be navigated three dimensional with a control menu.

You require for this program the specific compiled crane database and geometry interface file from us. With these files can you select the crane at the program start and then assign it to an actual project. Furthermore you select the configuration variables which are for the usage site and print these on a Din4-site view.

The 3D functionality of the CAD-systems enabled a realistic, true to scale representation of resource scheduling and therewith aligned collusion detection. The result can be documented in a scaled drawing.

Integrated 3D-tools in ToM:

MCC (Definition: Multi Crane Control)

This tool (MCC) allows you to erase a crane or freeze / thaw its layer structure from the CAD-drawing by one mouse-click. This is a most valuable function to get an enormous acceleration while you are working in layout / paper space to prepare your final drawings.

OBB (Definition: OBstacle Builder)

This 3D-tool (OBB) creates your most important 3D- obstructions / obstacles by a few mouse-clicks to place it, true to scale, to your drawing.

Furthermore, this tool provides a comprehensive library ready to use its pre-defined 3D-parts, such like buildings, trailers, a kit to create tower cranes, wind power plants and much more.

You can load up your self-made 3D-parts by one mouse-click to one of more than 700 user-windows and save them permanent. Those 3D-parts can now be used at any time to any further drawing.

RHL (Definition: Rigging Hook & Load)

With this 3D-tool (RHL), you can create very complex three-dimensional load cases. To start off with the 3D-Hook block via ropes, chains, shackles, eyebolts, trunnions, etc. up to a parts list, which can be printed out as a text-document, or inserted as a text-block to your CAD-drawing.

This tool provides you also a library with some pre-defined 3D-loads and a very comprehensive free user-windows to insert and save your self-made loads.

RHL is our most powerful 3D-tool and will certainly help you to do 99% of your load cases.

REC (Definition: Rope Equipment Creator)

3D-tool (REC) is a very well tool if you need to have more or other lifting accessories as are available in RHL. Such parts like shakles, eyebolts, slings, etc. You can create such simplified 3D-accessories you are missing, by having a popular data specification sheet and by doing a few inputs. Those parts will be added automatically to the respective selection menus in RHL.
